Huston Financial Services Scholarship

Dennis Huston established this scholarship in appreciation of our community and educational system.  Findlay High School has provided his children with opportunities to excel in athletics and academics.  Huston commented, “This philanthropic gift is a way to say thank you to an institution and a community that I cherish.  If I can help any individual become a Findlay success story, I would be honored.”  Huston is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and is President of Huston Financial Services.

Standard for Determining Eligibility of Students

This scholarship is dedicated to the student who will become a good employee in the business community and may well become engaged in the investment professions.

  • The applicant must be a Findlay High School graduating senior.
  • The applicant must be a full-time student pursuing a degree in business or finance so some related area at an accredited university or college.
  • The applicant must have participated in a varsity sport at Findlay High School for at least one year.
  • The applicant must have demonstrated good attendance while attending high school.
  • The applicant must have maintained a 3.0 GPA or above.
  • The applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
  • Students who receive full scholarship support from other organizations or institutions will not be considered for this scholarship.
