FINDLAY, OH — The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation awarded a presidential discretionary grant totaling $2,500 to support the Findlay Bicentennial Arch. The funds to support this grant were provided by the Bank One Unrestricted Fund.
The project will replicate historical arches adorning Main Street Findlay during the 1887 Natural Gas Celebration. The Bicentennial Arch will be constructed near the Main Street Bridge to celebrate the bicentennial of Findlay. It is estimated that 23,500 vehicles will pass beneath the arch daily.
