President
What I find satisfying: Being able to participate in creating Findlay and Hancock County’s future. Our donors and their families have such passion about Hancock County! Almost every day I meet people who see something they want to make better or assure will be there for future generations to enjoy. It’s inspiring to be in the midst of so much gratitude and generosity.
Donor Services Officer and Scholarship Coordinator
As staff at the Community Foundation we have the opportunity to work with donors and provide positive change in the community we work and live for our future and our children’s future, and our children’s children future. Being able to open the Courier each and every day and point to at least one program that the Community Foundation helped bridge a resource and grant an opportunity is most satisfying.
Executive Assistant
Knowing that the work that is done here at the Community Foundation is impacting people’s lives in such a positive way in Hancock-County. The non-profit agencies in the area work so hard to provide meaningful services to those in the community and to be a part of that, along with all of the scholarship dollars granted to students, is so rewarding.
Communications Officer
It’s hard to imagine forever but when a donor endows a fund here, that’s what happens. An endowed fund at the Community Foundation will keep giving and growing, forever!
Program officer
As a Foundation staff member, we get to work with two types of miracle workers: direct service providers at local agencies who help our neighbors in times of need and the donors who support their work.
Program Officer
What I find most satisfying are the relationships that I have been able to develop with community partners of all ages while brainstorming solutions to community problems.
Development & Planned Giving Officer
It is a privilege to work with forward thinking people who are investing in the future of our community through endowment.
