Business Leaders

Build Tomorrow’s Workforce!

If you could increase your bottom line in the future, by doing something today, would you do it? Of course, you would. That’s just good business.

By becoming involved with ECLIPSe, you are investing in your future customers and employees. Service learning benefits companies and corporations by:

  • Developing a generation of adults with a strong work ethic, leading to a stronger employment pool;
  • Growing good citizens who care about their community;
  • Creating adults who are knowledgeable about their community and the socially responsible businesses in that community;
  • Giving students the skills needed in the competitive work world, as they gain hands-on experience.

What can you do to become involved in ECLIPSe?

  • Provide professional expertise;
  • Provide financial support;
  • Provide in-kind resources;
  • Provide career exploration opportunities;
  • Collaborate with teachers and students to address local needs;
  • And so much more!

If you would like to donate to ECLIPSe or learn how to partner in a service learning project, contact ECLIPSe at 419-425-1100 or kbash@community-foundation.com.

Engage Young Philanthropists!

Young people in our community are looking for ways to have a positive impact on our world. You can help! Why should you consider a partnership with ECLIPSe?

  • Young people bring new energy, capabilities, and creative ideas for addressing community needs;
  • Service Learning cultivates a whole new generation of people who will be emotionally attached to your cause;
  • Young people are a valuable resource for community work;
  • Experiences while young may result in a lifelong supporter both as a future volunteer and as a financial investor; and
  • By engaging young people in non-profit organizations, they develop a greater sense of community connection.

Grants Available:

Each year, ECLIPSe grants funds to youth-driven service learning projects in Hancock County. Grants have been awarded to programs such as:

  • The Millstream Electric Vehicle
  • Junior Statesmen of America
  • Tanzania Projects at Findlay High School
  • The Medieval Garden at Van Buren Schools.

To apply for a grant: contact ECLIPSe at The Community Foundation 419-425-1100.
