Competitive Grants

Competitive Grants

The Community Foundation makes grants to charitable organizations serving the greater Hancock County area through a competitive grants process. Final grant decisions rest with our nine-member board of trustees.

We make grants for a wide range of charitable purposes in areas including, but not limited to, arts and culture, education, health, human services, capacity building and public benefit.

Since 1992, the Community Foundation has granted more than $20 million to improve life in the Hancock County community.
