Community Foundation Cooperating with Authorities Regarding Shooting at The Family Center

The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, owner and operator of The Family Center, is aware of an incident that happened in the evening of November 20 in The Family Center parking lot.
During the incident, which took place outside of business hours while the building was closed, two teenagers were on the property when one was shot. The victim was transported in a private vehicle to Blanchard Valley Hospital. Details on his condition are unknown at this time. The suspect was taken into custody by the Findlay Police Department and is being held at the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center.
The Community Foundation and The Family Center staff are in full cooperation with the authorities at this time. We have no further information on the incident and would refer all questions to investigators.
At this time, the building will open as scheduled during normal business hours on Monday.
