Kulik Joins Foundation Staff

The Community Foundation is pleased to announce Nick Kulik, CFRE has joined the Foundation staff. Kulik is the Chief Donor Engagement Officer, a new position created to encourage engagement with donors and advisors to further the mission of The Community Foundation.
Nick joins the Foundation with more than 10 years of development experience. Nick worked with United Way offices in Ohio and Wisconsin and ProMedica Healthcare System in development roles. He was a member of the development teams at Bowling Green State University and most recently the University of Toledo before joining The Community Foundation staff.
“Nick brings years of experience and leadership to The Community Foundation staff and we are excited to have him on board. His leadership will help us find new ways of partnering with donors to meet the needs of Hancock County and ensure we are set up for success for years to come,” said Katherine Kreuchauf, President of the Foundation.
The role of the Chief Donor Engagement Officer is to advance the mission of the Foundation by serving as the voice of charitable giving, creating a strategic plan for development, and working with donors to achieve their charitable and planned giving goals.
“I am excited to be part of the team and to start working toward a better quality of life for Hancock County. I look forward to being a resource for people wanting to learn more about ways to impact their community,” said Kulik.
Nick is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Northwest Ohio Chapter. He is chair of the AFP International Next Generation Committee. He graduated from Bowling Green State University and is currently working on a Master of Studies in Law from the University of Toledo College of Law.
