libbi and friends >^^< fund Announced

The Community Foundation is pleased to announced the establishment of the libbi and friends >^^< legacy fund of the Foundation.
Tami Sink felt compelled to establish this fund to give back to the community in honor of libbi, her beloved gray cat who was her companion for 18 years. Tami established the libbi and friends >^^< legacy fund to memorialize libbi and her other cats. The fund will support the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County for the medical needs of animals whose owners or caregivers cannot afford to provide the care.
Designated endowment funds with The Community Foundation are established to provide a permanent resource for a nonprofit organization’s future. As the endowments grow, they become an increasingly valuable source of support for the programs and services these agencies provide to the community.
