Findlay Moose 698 Scholarship

Findlay Moose Lodge 698 received its charter in 1911 and has been a benevolent entity since. Today there are several community service activities they’re involved in.
Community activities supported and organized by Findlay Moose include:
- Donation drives and donations of facility use.
- Friends of Santa.
- 50-75 Thanksgiving meals for local families annually.
- Special Olympics.
- Safe surfing.
- Tommy Moose.
- Veterans’ initiatives.
- Core fraternity initiatives like Moosehaven (retirement community) and Moosehart (community for unhoused children).
Findlay Moose established this scholarship to further its commitment to members and the community. The scholarship will be awarded to children, grandchildren, stepchildren and step-grandchildren of Findlay Moose 698 members.
Standards for Determining Eligibility
- The applicant must be a Findlay Moose 698 child, grandchild, legal stepchild, or legal step-grandchild.
- The applicant must plan to be a full-time or part-time student enrolled for their first year at an accredited technical, two-year, or four-year institution.
- Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
- Financial need is not a consideration.
- The applicant must have maintained a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA in high school.
- The applicant must be able to demonstrate participation in Community/Volunteer Service.
- Any student who receives a full scholarship that includes all the fees normally payable by policy of The Community Foundation will not qualify for this Scholarship.
