The Frank R. and Mary Jane Cosiano Family Scholarship was established by Dr. Frank R. and Mary Jane Cosiano in June of 2017. This scholarship is to benefit a Hancock County graduating senior with Type 1 Diabetes.

Standards for Determining Eligibility

• The applicant must be a graduating senior of a Hancock County School.
• Priority will be given to students with Type 1 Diabetes.
• The applicant must have maintained a cumulative 3.5 GPA or above while in high school or during the most recently completed grading period.
• Secondary preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
• The applicant must be active in community/volunteer service, including but not limited to school or church involvement.
• Any student who receives a full scholarship that includes all of the fees normally payable by policy of the Community Foundation will not qualify for this Scholarship.
