Glenda and Paul Treece Family Scholarship
Go Back to Filtered List | Search AgainThe Treece family established this scholarship in 2021 to honor Glenda and Paul Treece.
Glenda was a 1968 graduate of Lakota High School and started her career at Spencer Patterson Insurance, where she was employed for 13 years. She then took a break to stay home and raise her son before working at Findlay City Schools for 33 years (Jacobs Elementary School secretary for 6 years, Glenwood Middle School for 1 year, then the remaining years in the Treasurer's Office). Glenda did everything she could to show love to others and make them feel welcomed and loved until her passing in 2021.
Paul is a 1962 graduate of Findlay High School and is an Air Force Veteran who served his country in Vietnam. He worked at Cooper Tire and Ball Metal prior to retirement. He enjoys woodworking, going to basketball games at the University of Findlay and doing whatever he can to help and support people, in both big and small ways.
Family is everything for both Glenda and Paul. They are amazing parents and treasure time with their son, granddaughter, grandson, siblings, nieces and nephews. This scholarship is important to Glenda and Paul because throughout their life, they would do anything they could to support the passions of young people. This included going to athletic events, musical performances, recitals, school programs, and being the biggest fans regardless of the activity. Now, through this scholarship, they will be able to help young people achieve their dreams forever.
