Partners in Education Scholarship
Go Back to Filtered List | Search AgainThis general scholarship fund was established in 2009 by the Board of Trustees of The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation for the purpose of investing in the higher education of students who reside in Hancock County or who attend a high school within Hancock County. This scholarship will also encourage the involvement of donors who wish to contribute to the higher education of area youth, but do not wish to establish a named fund. The Partners in Education Scholarship Fund will offer permanent recognition in the Annual Report to individuals being honored or memorialized with contributions totaling $5,000 or more. Recognition will also be given for individuals honored or memorialized with donations of $0-$4,999 in the Annual Report during the year in which the gift is made.

- Jennifer Fell
- Greg Miller
- Cathy Zellner
Standards for Determining Eligibility
Students being chosen as alternates for other Community Foundation scholarships will be evaluated according to the following criteria. To be eligible for the Partners In Education Scholarship the student:
- Has not been awarded any other scholarships from the Foundation for the award year.
- Plans to be a full-time student enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade school for either undergraduate or graduate studies.
- Is a resident of Hancock County or lives within or is a graduate from a school district of a Hancock County School associated with the Hancock County ESC.
- Is a citizen of the United States of America.
- Maintained a cumulative 2.8 GPA.
- Has Financial need.
- May have received the Partners In Education Scholarship in past years, but must not have received any Community Foundation scholarships for the award year in which the current application is being reviewed.
- Must not receive full tuition scholarship support from other organizations or institutions.
