The purpose of the Richard Fisher Athletic Scholarship is to award a scholarship to a Findlay High School graduating senior who has participated in inter-scholastic athletics for at least two years, earned a minimum 2.5 GPA and has financial need. This scholarship is renewable if the minimum 2.5 GPA is maintained while at college.

Standards for Determining Eligibility of Students

• Applicant must be a Findlay High School graduating senior.
• Applicant must have participated in inter-scholastic athletics for two years at Findlay High School.
• Applicant shall have participated in inter-scholastic athletics in either an above average or leadership manner (potential for participation in college athletics shall not be a determining factor).
• Applicants must have earned a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Financial need is an essential requirement.

This scholarship may be renewed for up to three (3) consecutive years providing the following criterion is met:

• Recipient re-applies on the designated form for a yearly renewal.
• Recipient maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA while at college.
• Recipient has been and will continue to be a full-time student.
• Recipient has demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Selection Committee normal progress toward the degree program of their choice.
• Recipient has not withdrawn or been expelled (however, personal tragedy may be considered as an exception).
