Marilyn and Gordon Macklin Intergenerational Institute Fund

Established 2003 The Macklin Intergenerational Institute Fund was established to support the Marilyn and Gordon Macklin Intergenerational Institute. Marilyn and Gordon Macklin lived in Findlay from 1951 to 1958 and upon leaving stated that Findlay would always remain near and dear to their hearts. They firmly believed that if the right opportunity came along, they would give back; the Intergenerational Institute was the perfect match and they endowed the program. The Marilyn and Gordon Macklin Intergenerational Institute is a not-for-profit organization established in July 2003. The Institute encourages young and old to come together and share their talents, knowledge, and resources. It encompasses intergenerational intitiatives, consultation services, research, continuing education opportunities, and a quality intergenerational center-Marilyn's Lifelong Educational Center. The Institute's Board of Directors has the responsibility of designating quarterly distributions to the Institute's general operations fund.
